Join the East County NAACP in the Fight for Human Rights.

Loyal supporters like you are helping the East County NAACP make a big impact on civil rights and social justice in the cities we serve. In 2012 alone we monitored all of the School Districts listed below. Each has serious issues with disproportionate suspensions of African American students.  An updated report on each district will be submitted after receiving the data.

a.       Mt. Diablo Unified School District

b.      Brentwood Unified School District

c.       Pittsburg Unified School District

d.      Antioch Unified School District

e.      Oakley Union Elementary School District

f.        Walnut Creek Unified School District

g.       Liberty Union High School District

Attendance by board and committee members to at least one of the district board meetings is part of our work.

Our work is far from over. We need your help to continue the fight to make East County a better place for citizens of all colors this year.
